Take time to read Coton Village Hall’s hire agreement and safety procedures!
These set out your responsibilities when you hire Coton Village Hall. It’s your duty to be present during the period of hire and to take care of yourself, your guests and our building.
Check you know what to do in a fire emergency
Have you checked that the emergency exit doors are clear and can be released? Is it clear who will take charge of getting people out of the building in case of a fire? Do you know where the Fire Assembly Point is (the Village Green)? Is your mobile phone charged so you could contact the emergency services if necessary? What’s your plan for those with impaired mobility? Have you read and understood the fire action notices displayed around the hall?
Take care when moving furniture
Use the trolleys provided to move tables and chairs- Remember the maximum limits for stacking chairs are listed on the chair trolleys.
